This week I start off the conversation on the racist roots of gun control by taking you to church with me. Hoping to help you get a flavor for the thought behind the protest and the confusion. Music is live from my church, in the old tradition of Negro spirituals.

This is just part one of a month long tribute to history and our past. “A Mightly Long Way” is sung by a friend and member of my church in the tradition of our ancestors.
Zombie Strike, Chapter 19 will be heard as I prepare to re-mix and put twenty chapters together with a ebook for urban shooter fans of the weekly zombie saga. It will give you time to catch up and share in the fun.

* * I misquoted the Bible on the last episode. The quote about the “fool and his money” I think is one of Shakespeares’.

Pastor, if I may impose. You must publish here all those references regarding the gun control laws against blacks you gave in this episode. I knew a couple, but your list is so amazing I was just floored. Heck of a podcast. I haven’t heard you too long but I think this was your best yet.

I am with Miguel – where’s the links? We need this information to help society be aware.
Also, thanks again for all you do! It is your “American History” that helps me with some of the discussions I have. Black history, Mexican history, Native American history all ties together to become American history – your presentation works much better than mine. I suspect that is partially because I am a “middle-aged white guy with a gun” and that just doesn’t have any notoriety!
