153 American History Part Three

Some background on “A Raisin in The Sun,” this show gets a Mature Audience Warning because I use the “N” word as it was used in a document about  The Dr. Ossian Sweet Story, a little on African American Migration,

Historic closing remarks of Clarence Darrow, Detroit, and trains.  I sing Howling Wolf’s “Smokestack Lightning” and had fun doing it.

What’s up my brutha from another mutha? Big hellos from the great state of Texas! I too am a “black man with a gun”, who proudly served this country in the USAF and USNR. Just wanted to take the time to extend thanks for making USP what it is. The American History series are becoming my favorites of your shows. Its nice to see a message during “Black History Month” that is pro-liberty, pro-gun, isn’t all about “this historic election”, and doesn’t resort to race politics and victimhood. Thanks for keeping it positive.

Oh, you asked in your show for listeners to mention what guns they own. Here’s my modest battery:

Saiga 7.62X39 mm (restored to AK pistol grip configuration),
Winchester 1300 Defender with Knoxx Spec-Ops stock,
    CZ-75b (wife’s gun),
    Kahr CW9 (my CCW).

    Keep on Keepin’ On,
    Kevin

I have too many guns to list but lately I’ve been playing around a lot with my .22′s and a suppressor. The Ruger Single Six Hunter is used to practice for hunting as my two main big bore revolvers have the same type of gold dot, v-rear sight. The Ruger Mark II has a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite replacement threaded barrel. Other self defense practice has been with a Tactical Solutions .22 AR upper. A CZ452 is used off of shooting stick, like those we used on the South Africa hunt, to keep in practice with those. Finally, the Kimber Model 82 Gov’t. target rifle is scoped up and shot off the bench just for fun. I plan on sitting out on a relaxing day at the range shooting flies that land on the target that is spiked with honey or jelly.

As for the question about training, now that you’re associated with Downrange.TV, you might get the chance to hook up and train with Rob Pincus. His I.C.E. Training company has a mailing address of Virginia Beach, VA. which might be fairly close for you and get you a discount now that you’re blog brothers.
