Welcome to Zombie Strike!
One of the best features of this podcast is the participation of the listeners. Awhile ago I created a story line involving a fictitious island where the government took advantage of a biological mistake and tragedy and made a game preserve called Zombie Island.
It’s a place in the South Pacific where you hunt and destroy zombies for fun and profit. Fictitious man-made island originally designed as a ecological accomplishment of using recycled waste for good went horribly wrong when 2000 people succumbed to the toxins and radiological material thought to be safe that turned this fantasy island into a nightmare. Now it’s called Skull Island, where professional thrill seekers test their skills for bragging rights and a $1M grand prize. On The Urban Shooter Podcast, you can hear the latest antics as competitors destroy these walking abominations.
Here I managed and served as game host to extreme hunters and warriors whose job was to “play eighteen holes of golf” with their lives navigating and destroying as many of the undead inhabitants for prize money going from bunker to bunker. We had many guest speakers and role players. Anyone with a creative bone and a good sense of humor is welcome to submit audio. We’ve had some great ones.
What does this have to do with shooting or gun rights? Nothing, but it is still a great diversion for the people that still like fun and like to contribute. Technically, you get to purposely plan to shoot zombies, talk about it, and act it out on audio. Like a good George Romero movie, the good guys always win and there is little morally wrong with destroying monsters.
Some think it’s silly. It makes US different. I like different. If you want serious, there are plenty other folks to listen to.
